Kim Thraen oversees all aspects of All Wildlife Rescue and Education, Inc. She writes grants and locates operational funding. She presents the educational program in the schools. She also helps in assisting animal rescues and treatments.
She is part of AWRE because she believes in the goals and philosophies of the organization. Being an educator, she sees the need to enlighten the children of the community. She would like to be part of educating youth on how to respect the wildlife around them as well as how to preserve it.
Thraen has 17 years of teaching experience, four of which were at the managerial level. She has a degree in early childhood education.
Thraen is part of The International Wildlife Rehabilitation Council and the National Association for Education of Young Children.
